Shipping and Returns

Shipping to international customers please see paragraph 1-A, 1-B and 1-C

Domestic Shipping 

We ship United States Postal Service (USPS) for most all purchases. Other shipping methods may take longer and will more expensive. Shipping costs, within the United States, are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders shipped to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS. 

We do not ship COD.

Please allow up to two business days to process and ship your purchase. If you need faster service and/or delivery please notify us when you order.

If using USPS or UPS to ship, you will receive an automatic tracking number via email, if available. If we have inadvertently neglected to forward a tracking number to you please notify us and we will get one to you as soon as it becomes available. There are no tracking numbers for international shipping.

International Shipping

1-A Prior to ordering please e-mail sitkastephd@comcast.net or call 1-253-653-8745 to discuss the international shipping rate for your location. If the international shipping rate does not already show please see section 1-B.

If you happen to check out without checking on the actual shipping costs you may receive an e-mail notifying you of the additional charges and will be asked to make arrangement to have the additional charges paid before your purchase is shipped. We will adjust the invoice to show the revised cost. The revised invoice will be sent to you by e-mail. If we do not receive notification that the required funds have been paid within 7 days your order will be canceled and any payment received by Shelton Pacific will be returned. Please give up to 4 weeks for the refund to be made.

1-B A Customs Declaration is always prepared for international orders. It is the buyer's responsibility to know the cost of importing and any taxes required for an order from Shelton Pacific.

1-C We are unable to provide refunds in the event that the item that you have ordered was seized by customs or other agencies. Consult your local laws before ordering if you are in doubt.

 

Receipt of Goods

Please notify us via email or phone within 24 hours if you do not receive your package within the expected time period. When tracking numbers for shipping are available the buyer is responsible for tracking all shipments. For domestic shipping we will try to make sure you have a tracking number at time of shipment. If we have inadvertently neglected to forward a tracking number to you please notify us and we will get one to you as soon as it becomes available.

For our international customers: There is no tracking number for shipment of orders outside the U. S.

Damage or Discrepancy in Shipments: Complete customer satisfaction is our goal. Each knife block is carefully inspected and securely packaged prior to shipping. If there are any problems with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt. Contact may be by e-mail  to sitkastephd@comcast.net anytime, or phone at 1-253-653-8742 Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. Pacific Standard or Daylight Time. Shelton Pacific will not be responsible for any claims made after 24 hours.

For insurance purposes, if the damage looks to have occurred during shipping, please retain the entire package and its contents as well as the original packing materials for the shipper’s inspection.

Returns: Please contact Shelton Pacific prior to returning any item so we can discuss your dissatisfaction. Send an e-mail to sitkastephd@comcast.net anytime, or phone at 1-253-653-8742 Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. Pacific Standard or Daylight Time requesting a ‘Return Authorization’ prior to returning any merchandise.

Merchandise must be returned in the same condition as when it was sold and must be shipped fully insured. Shelton Pacific recommends that you either send the merchandise by USPS Express or UPS carrier with tracking, insurance and signature required. Please notify us of the tracking number.

Returns and exchanges must be approved and returned to Shelton Pacific within 10 days from delivery. Items returned after 10 days will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. No return requests will be accepted after 10 days of delivery. A copy of the original invoice must accompany any return. Merchandise returned requiring COD to Shelton Pacific will not be accepted. Items must be returned to Shelton Pacific by express USPS or UPS methods.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of returning the merchandise. In many cases, the buyer will receive a refund more quickly.

Regarding international sales: We are unable to provide refunds in the event that the item that you have ordered was confiscated by customs or other agencies. Consult your local laws before ordering if you are in doubt.

We will notify you via e-mail once we have received and processed the returned item.

Hours of Operation: Our hours are Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. Pacific Standard or Daylight Time, and 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon Pacific Standard or Daylight Time on Saturday. Our facility is closed on Sunday and the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
